Kim Yeon-su, Director of Seoul National University Hospital, held a press conference at the Medical Research Innovation Center of Seoul National University Hospital that afternoon and revealed the cause of death of former President Roh.

According to Seoul National University Hospital, it is estimated that former President Roh died due to multiple diseases occurring in combination while his entire body was weakened from a long-term illness such as multiple system atrophy.

Former President Roh was admitted to the emergency room of Seoul National University Hospital around 12:45 PM that day and received treatment, but his condition worsened and he passed away at 1:46 PM.
