[Asia Economy Reporter Lee Isul] Actor Shin Hyun-joon is making a comeback in film.


JNC Media Group announced on the 26th that "Actors Shin Hyun-joon, Lee Moon-sik, Kim Min-kyung, Hong Eun-gi, Choi Sung-won, and Kim Byung-chun have been cast in the movie 'Salsu' (Director Kwak Jung-duk)" and shared news of the start of filming.


Shin Hyun-joon plays the role of Lee Nan, a salsu with unparalleled skills that no one can rival, who becomes entangled with the local official Ibang through an accidental incident and faces an unavoidable fate.


The role of Ibang is played by actor Lee Moon-sik. Ibang is a former leader of the geomgye and currently a powerful figure in the village of Anbyeon-hyeon, known for his cruel nature more than anyone else.


Kim Min-kyung appears as the woman Seonhong. In addition, Hong Eun-gi, Choi Sung-won, Kim Byung-chun, Park Jae-hoon, and Kim Je-yeol join the cast.


Director Kwak Jung-duk, who wrote the screenplay for 'Baekdusan' and adapted 'A Model Family,' is directing and writing the script.
