According to Gwangju Metropolitan City on the 26th, there were 5 confirmed cases reported in one day.

Among them, 4 were confirmed to be family members. Patient 5307 first showed symptoms and tested positive, and subsequently, the younger sibling, mother, and a relative living together were also confirmed infected.

Patients 5307 and 5308, both under 10 years old, were confirmed to be attending alternative schools operated by religious facilities.

The quarantine authorities conducted tests on a total of 295 people at two alternative schools located in Dong-gu and Nam-gu, and all tested negative.

Additionally, it was confirmed that these family members attended a church service the previous day, and a full inspection targeting contacts was conducted in the afternoon.

Aside from these, the other confirmed case is known to be a family member of patient 5306, who was confirmed positive on the 24th.
