[Asia Economy Reporter Jeong Hyunjin] LG Electronics announced that it will participate in the 52nd Korea Electronics Show (KES 2021), held for four days from the 26th at COEX in Samseong-dong, Seoul. LG Electronics will showcase a 900㎡ exhibition hall featuring a range of products from its ultra-large OLED TVs at the entrance, to new-concept lifestyle appliances like StanbyME and Tiun, as well as the LG Objet Collection.
At the entrance of the exhibition hall, ultra-large OLED TVs such as the 83-inch OLED TV and the 88-inch LG Signature OLED 8K were installed. Inside the hall, various robots including the newly released LG CLOi GuideBot, LG CLOi UV-C Bot, and LG CLOi ServeBot assist visitors for a smooth viewing experience.
In the center of the exhibition hall, the wireless private screen LG StanbyME and the plant lifestyle appliance LG Tiun were displayed. StanbyME, which won the Innovation Award at this KES, is a product that can be moved around the home for various uses such as home training, OTT viewing, and online classes. LG Tiun automates most of the complex plant cultivation processes. LG Electronics also set up a camping cinema zone where visitors can experience various products suitable for camping or small parties, including the LG CineBeam projector, LG Room & TV, and LG XBOOM 360.
LG Electronics prepared an exhibition space for the LG Objet Collection, a space interior appliance line. The Family Life Zone is designed for families of three or more, allowing visitors to experience the interior design presented by the LG Objet Collection lineup across a range of home appliances such as the WashTower, Styler, ice water purifier refrigerator, dishwasher, microwave oven, and water purifier. Products for customers with pets, such as the PuriCare 360° Air Purifier Pet Alpha, CordZero A9S Pet ThinQ, and Tromm Dryer Steam Pet, were also displayed. The Single Life exhibition zone, tailored to the lifestyle of single-person households, featured not only LG Objet Collection products but also lifestyle screens and premium wireless speakers.
LG Electronics will also showcase numerous solutions that enhance business efficiency in response to non-face-to-face environments, including the all-in-one screen LG One:Quick, which consolidates complex video conferencing solutions; the transparent OLED signage that allows simultaneous viewing of the screen and what is behind it; the electronic whiteboard LG One:Quick e-Board; LG Cloud Monitor; and medical monitors. The Home Beauty Zone exhibited the LG Pra.L lineup, including MediHair (hair loss treatment medical device), Eye Care (intensive eye skin care), Intensive Multi-Care (all-in-one complex elasticity care), WashPop (ultrasonic facial cleanser), Body Spa (ultrasonic body cleanser), and Essential Booster (ultrasonic cleanser and nutrition/moisture care).
Visitors can experience the ultra-short throw projector LG CineBeam Laser 4K in the Home Cinema Zone, along with audio devices such as the premium soundbar LG Eclair and Bluetooth wireless earphones LG XBOOM Go. Additionally, the exhibition features a variety of high-performance gaming devices under LG’s UltraGear brand, including gaming monitors with up to 180Hz high refresh rates and numerous gaming-specific features, as well as gaming speakers that maximize immersion with premium sound technology.
Furthermore, LG Electronics will separately exhibit KES Innovation Award-winning products in a special pavilion. Four products received innovation awards: StanbyME in the Smart Home category; Pra.L Intensive Multi-Care in the Convergence New Industry category; UltraGear gaming monitors in the Tech Solution category; and CLOi GuideBot.
