Samsung Securities, Kakao Pay IPO Subscription... Until 10 PM

[Asia Economy Reporter Park Jihwan] Samsung Securities announced on the 25th that it will provide nighttime service for the 'KakaoPay' IPO subscription, which will be held over two days on the 25th and 26th.

On the first day of subscription, the nighttime subscription service will be applied. It can be used online until 10 PM. However, on the subscription deadline day, the 26th, it will close at 4 PM as usual.

The online subscription system is available through Samsung Securities' mobile app 'mPOP', the simple investment app 'One Investment (O2)', Samsung Securities HTS, or the Samsung Securities website.

Samsung Securities explained that by extending online subscription hours, most investors such as office workers and self-employed people who find it difficult to use daytime hours on weekdays can conveniently invest by utilizing their time after work. Samsung Securities stated that from the 'K Car' subscription to 'G&B S Engineering', more than 10% of subscribers on the first day of subscription used the nighttime online subscription service, showing great response.

A Samsung Securities official said, "Recently, over 95% of IPO subscriptions are conducted online," and added, "Samsung Securities plans to continuously provide nighttime online IPO subscription services when participating as the sole underwriter or when there is an agreement among lead underwriters."
