By using the Ministry of the Interior and Safety's electronic certificate service, various certificates can be issued and submitted in electronic document form anytime and anywhere through a smartphone.
Kyobo Life Insurance linked this service so that from application to issuance and submission of certificates required for insurance and financial transactions can be used in a one-stop manner through the Kyobo Life Insurance application (app). Accordingly, necessary documents for insurance claims or loan applications can be easily applied for via mobile at the Customer Plaza counter.
The electronic certificate applicable tasks include proxy sub-payment processing, reimbursement of actual medical expenses, personal credit and secured loan applications, and early withdrawal applications for retirement pensions. The electronic certificates that can be issued include 13 types such as resident registration certificate (original and copy), health insurance qualification certificate, tax payment certificate, and income amount certificate.
Kyobo Life Insurance plans to gradually expand the application of electronic certificate services to other tasks requiring certificates, such as appointing financial planners (FP) and recruiting new employees.
A Kyobo Life Insurance official said, "We are strengthening customer services using mobile in line with recent digital trends and changes in the untact financial environment," adding, "It is expected that customer convenience and accessibility will be greatly enhanced as electronic certificate application, issuance, and submission are all possible in one stop through a single mobile app."
