NS Home Shopping will showcase some fashion products using employee models, who are ordinary people, starting from the November issue of NS Shopping Book.
[Asia Economy Reporter Lim Chunhan] NS Home Shopping announced on the 25th that it will participate in the 'Body Positive' movement by featuring some fashion products using ordinary employees as models starting from the November issue of the NS Shopping Book. Body Positive is a recent trend in the fashion industry that refers to body positivity, the practice of loving one's own body.
In the November issue of the NS Home Shopping Shopping Book, Kim Yongman, Executive Director of the SB Business Division, appeared as the first ordinary model in the main fashion section called 'Focus of Attention.' He showcased ordinary people wearing seasonal fashion items such as cardigan jumpers, half-zip knits, zip-up basic knits, and fleece-lined check shirts, providing vivid reviews that cannot be expressed through photos alone.
The NS Home Shopping Shopping Book plans to continuously introduce photo spreads featuring ordinary models wearing fashion products on its planned pages. In addition, the planned pages will be composed with realistic product presentations using ordinary people, along with authentic product reviews as if introduced by a close acquaintance.
Executive Director Kim said, "We believe that participating in the Body Positive movement is a trend that leads society positively beyond the fashion industry, which is why we proceeded with this plan using employee models. In the future, when planning fashion products, we will not only use ordinary models but also review the size composition and design utilization of fashion products to present items that align with the Body Positive movement."
