[This Week's Paid-in Capital Increase] October Fourth Week Public Offering Schedule

[Asia Economy Reporter Hyunseok Yoo] In the fourth week of this month (October), Samsung Heavy Industries and Isu Petasys will conduct rights offerings.


◆Samsung Heavy Industries= Samsung Heavy Industries will conduct a rights offering followed by a general public offering for unsubscribed shares. On the 28th, the offering will be conducted for the employee stock ownership association. Subscription for existing shareholders will take place from the 28th to the 29th. Subsequently, the general public offering subscription will be held from the 2nd to the 3rd of next month.


A total of 250 million shares will be issued to raise 1.2825 trillion KRW. The issue price is 5,130 KRW per share. Of the funds raised, 500 billion KRW will be used for debt repayment. Additionally, 782.5 billion KRW will be used as operating funds for payment of materials related to shipbuilding.


Samsung Heavy Industries, established in August 1974, is an affiliate of the Samsung Group. It is the world's third-largest ultra-large shipbuilding company in terms of cumulative order records. In 2020,

its sales amounted to 6.8603 trillion KRW.


◆Isu Petasys= Isu Petasys will conduct a rights offering followed by a general public offering for unsubscribed shares. On the 28th, the offering will be conducted for the employee stock ownership association. From the 28th to the 29th, subscription and oversubscription for existing shareholders will take place. Then, the general public offering subscription will be held from the 2nd to the 3rd of next month.


A total of 21.98 million shares will be issued to raise 72.4 billion KRW. The issue price is 3,295 KRW per share. Of the funds raised, 42 billion KRW will be used for facility investment, and 30.4 billion KRW will be used as operating funds. Specifically, the facility funds will be used for new investments related to wired networks and server product lines, as well as for constructing new buildings for new equipment lines. The operating funds will be used for purchasing raw materials and supplies.


Isu Petasys is a printed circuit board (PCB) manufacturer. It electrically connects various electronic components and also mechanically secures them.
