[Asia Economy Reporter Koo Chae-eun] More than 70 pro-Moon Jae-in faction lawmakers within the Democratic Party of Korea have launched a group to evaluate the achievements and challenges of the Moon Jae-in administration and will hold a series of related discussion sessions.

On the 24th, Representative Yoon Gun-young issued a press release announcing that from the 27th to December 8th, a series of discussion sessions hosted by the "Group of Lawmakers Reflecting on the 5 Years of the Moon Jae-in Government" (hereafter "the Group") will be held. A total of 73 lawmakers are listed as members of the Group.

Led by Representative Yoon, a former Blue House National Situation Room chief known as President Moon's close aide, the Group includes many pro-Moon lawmakers such as Ki Dong-min, Do Jong-hwan, Kim Jong-min, Jin Sung-jun, Han Byung-do, Jeon Hye-sook, and Hong Ik-pyo. Yoon's side explained that this Group is a temporary organization established to smoothly hold and conduct the series of discussion sessions.

The discussion sessions hosted by the Group will be held every Wednesday. At the first session on the 27th, the Moon administration's achievements will be evaluated in four sessions: income security and welfare delivery, health care, culture and arts, and labor respect.

In the press release, Representative Yoon stated, "To accurately evaluate the achievements of the Moon Jae-in government, we will continuously consult to ensure the discussion sessions proceed without any setbacks and prepare thoroughly for detailed discussions in the future."
