KB Kookmin Bank Launches New KB Star Banking... Focus on Personalized Services

[Asia Economy Reporter Park Sun-mi]KB Kookmin Bank will launch a new KB Star Banking, evolved with a customer-centric approach, starting from the 27th. Every aspect of the application (app), including access and usage, is focused on personalized services for ‘me (the customer).’

According to Kookmin Bank on the 24th, the new KB Star Banking will implement ▲ automatic login feature ▲ improved transfer convenience ▲ personalized home screen ▲ customized asset management for each customer ▲ core services from six KB Financial Group affiliates ▲ enhanced notification functions.

Using the automatic login feature allows users to skip the login process. When the app is launched, it operates with just an icon touch without any separate authentication steps. For transfer transactions, once the input is completed, the process button does not need to be pressed separately, as it automatically switches to the next transaction screen, enhancing convenience. On the home screen, users can set a primary account, enabling quick balance checks and transfers by registering the desired account. Also, in the personalized menu area, six menus are recommended based on the customer's usage data, and the home screen layout can be customized for a personalized financial experience.

KB Kookmin Bank has newly established ‘My Asset Management,’ a customer-centered proposal-type customized asset management service that incorporates the bank’s long-accumulated high-level asset management know-how. It classifies customer asset management characteristics into eight types and provides sophisticated asset management services tailored to each type. Core services from six KB Financial Group affiliates, such as KB Securities’ ‘Easy Stock Trading,’ KB Kookmin Card’s ‘KB Pay Simple Payment,’ and KB Insurance’s ‘Smart Insurance Claim,’ can also be accessed all at once.

About 170 notification services are provided without the need for separate app downloads by adding new notification content to the existing 130 notifications offered in KB Star Alert. For example, the local tax bill notification content provides a button that allows direct movement to the payment screen.
