Noble Air Purifier Achieves Grand Slam by Winning All Four Major Global Design Awards
[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Cheol-hyun] Coway (CEO Lee Hae-sun and Seo Jang-won) announced on the 22nd that four products, including the Noble air purifier series, won design awards at Japan's 'Good Design Award 2021.' With this achievement, Coway has won the Good Design Award for 15 consecutive years.
The Good Design Award, hosted by the Japan Institute of Design Promotion, is Japan's most prestigious international design competition. It comprehensively evaluates not only design but also the product's humanity, honesty, innovation, aesthetics, and ethical aspects. Award-winning works are granted the 'G-Mark.'
Notably, the Noble air purifier, which won this time, achieved a 'Grand Slam' by winning all four major global design awards this year (iF Design Award, Red Dot Design Award, IDEA Design Award, and Good Design Award).
In addition to the Noble air purifier series, the Noble dehumidifier, Prime water purifier Basic, and interior air purifier were also selected as award-winning products. Song Hyun-joo, head of Coway Design Center, said, "The secret to Coway's recent consecutive wins at global design awards lies in incorporating simplicity focused on the product's core functions and naturalness that fits any space into the products." He added, "We will continue to do our best in developing innovative designs so that customers can experience the uniqueness of Coway products."
