[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Cheol-hyun] E-commerce companies are hosting various events using the concept of the Netflix drama 'Ojingeo Game' (Squid Game), which has caused a global sensation. This aims to provide consumers with reasonable shopping opportunities while also offering various fun experiences based on online platforms.

Wemakeprice (WEMAKEPRICE) is holding an online survival game called 'Wemakeprice Game' from the 25th to the 27th for three days. After conducting a total of three games, the final winner will receive a cash prize. Participation in the game is free of charge. One game is held each day. Three games?quiz answering, Dalgona candy picking, and guessing odd or even marbles?are held in order. All applicants participate in the first game, and whether they succeed in the mission determines if they advance to the next game.

The single final winner will receive a prize of up to 20 million KRW. The prize amount is determined by the number of event applicants. The prize accumulates by 100 KRW per participant. The prize is paid in Wemakeprice free points, which can be used like cash for Wemakeprice shopping for one year from the date of accumulation. Applications for Wemakeprice Game participation are available until the 24th via the Wemakeprice app and website. All game participants are also provided with exclusive 'VIP Club' benefits, including special discounted products, coupons, point accumulation when using affiliated cards, ongoing VIP Club benefits, and opportunities to participate in VIP Club Day events.

Tmon conducted a game concept promotion called 'Timoni Game' until the 20th. By completing all six missions presented by Tmon successfully, 200 people were selected by lottery to receive cultural gift certificates as prizes. The event was designed to let participants enjoy the fun of passing each mission and experience nostalgic old games firsthand, as well as purchase related products.

The missions were simple. Participants had to sequentially complete six steps: applying for game participation, attending check-in point roulette event participation, downloading keyword coupons, downloading card company benefits, purchasing Timoni Game mission products, and leaving verification comments. Tmon also sold nostalgic games popular in the 70s and 80s, such as 'Marble Set' and 'Dalgona Making Kit.'
