Seongnam City to Host Youth Employment Fair... June 26-29

[Asia Economy (Seongnam) = Reporter Lee Young-gyu] Seongnam City in Gyeonggi Province will hold the 'Seongnam-Pangyo On-Off Youth Job Fair' at the Pangyo Job Center located in the underground passage connecting Pangyo Station in Baekhyeon-dong, Bundang-gu, from the 26th to the 29th of this month.

This event was planned to alleviate the employment difficulties faced by the youth due to the prolonged COVID-19 pandemic and to promote youth employment by companies.

Participating companies include 30 firms such as Cha Biotech, Commax Co., Ltd., and GSIL Co., Ltd. These companies will hire a total of 129 people.

The event schedule starts with on-site interviews on the 26th, followed by video interviews on the 28th and 29th, respectively.

The city previously conducted an online pre-event to collect resumes and job applications and forwarded them to the respective companies.

Those eligible for on-site and video interviews are candidates who passed the document screening of each company.

To assist job seekers, the city provides support such as fingerprint aptitude tests, artificial intelligence (AI) and virtual reality (VR) interview experiences, employment counseling, and job application consulting.
