Hwasun-gun 추진 of 'Rural Village Sewage System Improvement Project'

[Hwasun=Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Kim Ji-woon] Jeollanam-do Hwasun-gun (Governor Gu Chung-gon) announced on the 21st that it will invest 11 billion KRW in the ‘Boklim District Rural Village Sewage System Improvement Project’ to improve the water quality of Hwasuncheon.

The county is promoting the ‘Boklim District Rural Village Sewage System Improvement Project’ to properly treat domestic sewage generated in five villages (Cheonggung, Masan, Mupo, Bokam, Gyeongchi) in Dong-myeon, the upper stream area of Hwasuncheon.

The improvement project, which began construction in June, aims to install a sewage treatment facility with a daily capacity of 110 tons to properly treat domestic sewage from the five villages, and to maintain sewage pipelines (11.35 km) and drainage facilities for 276 households.

Upon completion of the project, it is expected to improve not only the water quality of Hwasuncheon but also the living environment of residents in Hwasun-eup and Dong-myeon.

A county official said, “We are also securing budgets for rural village sewage and sewage pipeline maintenance projects reflected in the basic sewage system maintenance plan of Hwasun-gun,” adding, “We will do our best to advance sewage administration and improve residents’ living environment.”
