Credit Card Crime Prevention Knowledge Donation... BC Card Receives Appreciation Plaque from Police Commissioner

[Asia Economy Reporter Ki Ha-young] BC Card announced on the 21st that it received a commendation from the Commissioner General of the National Police Agency in recognition of its contributions to credit card crime prevention and the advancement of police administration on the occasion of the 76th Police Day.

The commendation from the Commissioner General of the National Police Agency is an award given annually on Police Day to organizations and individuals who have contributed to the development of police administration.

BC Card was the first card company to introduce a Fraud Detection System (FDS) and has its own development personnel. Through the advancement of FDS, including the application of artificial intelligence (AI) analysis technology, it is leading efforts to detect fraudulent use both domestically and internationally. Based on this, it identifies the latest fraud trends and cooperates with investigative agencies, contributing to the apprehension of suspects.

Since 2009, BC Card has also participated in knowledge donation activities by providing lectures and training on credit card crime investigations for police investigators and producing investigation manuals.

Choi Won-seok, CEO of BC Card, stated, "We will continue to contribute to social development by participating in various social contribution activities centered on the industry's top experts."
