[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Dongguk Lee] The Gyeongju City Facilities Management Corporation has resumed operations of the Gyeongju National Sports Center from the 20th, which had been suspended since August 7 to prevent the spread of COVID-19.
According to Gyeongju City's quarantine guidelines, the facility will operate at 50% of its normal capacity, and only the following activities will be available: free swimming (simultaneous entry of 75 people, including those fully vaccinated) and fitness (simultaneous entry of 17 people).
To prevent COVID-19, strict quarantine measures will be followed, including maintaining visitor logs, temperature checks, mandatory mask-wearing, and conducting regular disinfection and sterilization twice daily.
Director Kim Gi-yeol stated, “I hope the Gyeongju National Sports Center will help the citizens of Gyeongju, who have been exhausted by the prolonged COVID-19 pandemic and strict social distancing measures, to regain a healthy and vibrant life.”
