Dongshin University Holds Employment Seminar on "Know-How to Become an Overseas Nurse from Seniors"

[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Cho Hyung-joo] Dongshin University Career Center announced on the 20th that it held a non-face-to-face online overseas employment briefing session by inviting senior nurses working in New Zealand and the United States for nursing students who wish to work at hospitals in English-speaking countries.

Seventy-four nursing students learned from a senior nurse currently working at Mount Sinai Hospital in the United States about the process and methods of preparing to become a nurse in the U.S., U.S. nurse hiring conditions and benefits, differences between U.S. and Korean nurses, and local living conditions.

On the 13th, a senior nurse working at Auckland City Hospital, a public hospital in New Zealand, shared know-how for overseas nurse employment with juniors.

An Min-joo, head of Dongshin University Career Center, said, "The success stories of employment heard from seniors who have worked for more than 2 to 3 years in domestic hospitals and then worked for more than 3 years as overseas nurses are employment support programs perfectly suited for students," adding, "We will continue to support various employment support programs to foster global talents."
