Jeonbuk Province Surpasses 80% First Dose COVID-19 Vaccination Rate

[Jeonju=Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Kim Han-ho] Jeonbuk Province announced that as of 12 PM on the 20th, the number of people who received the first dose of the COVID-19 vaccination exceeded 1.43 million, with over 80% of the entire population having completed vaccination.

According to the province, as of 12 PM on that day, the cumulative number of first-dose vaccinations was 1,435,117, accounting for 80.05% of the population.

Additionally, 1,250,808 people have completed vaccination (69.7%).

This corresponds to 91.8% of the target population for vaccination (aged 16 and over) (80.03% completed vaccination).

Furthermore, Jeonbuk Province expects that the second-dose vaccination for those aged 18 and over is progressing smoothly, and the vaccination completion rate is expected to exceed 70% of the population within this week.
