[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Hyemin] Ssangyong Construction announced on the 20th that it will publicly recruit about 20 internship positions linked to employment in the sales and management departments in the second half of this year.
Successful candidates hired as interns will work as interns for about two months starting early December, and after a practical evaluation, they are scheduled to be officially hired as new employees in the first half of next year.
The recruitment fields include 8 departments in the sales division: ▲Architectural Sales ▲Urban Maintenance ▲Marketing ▲Housing Business ▲Remodeling ▲Public Sales ▲Technical Sales ▲Overseas Sales, and 6 departments in the management division: ▲Planning ▲HR ▲Legal Affairs ▲Accounting ▲Public Relations ▲Outsourcing Purchasing, totaling 14 departments.
Among these, three departments?Remodeling, Technical Sales, and Legal Affairs?prefer candidates with related majors. The remaining 11 departments accept applicants regardless of major, allowing both humanities and science majors to apply.
Applicants must be graduates or expected graduates by February 2022 from a four-year university or higher. Those with excellent language skills capable of working at domestic and overseas sites, veterans, and persons with disabilities are given preference according to relevant laws.
Online document submission is accepted until the 31st, followed by an online aptitude test and video interview in November, with the final successful candidates announced at the end of next month.
A Ssangyong Construction official stated, "Since 2015, we have hired a total of about 450 new and experienced employees due to increased sales and order volume," adding, "This internship recruitment is characterized by being linked to regular employment."
