Homeplus Expands Pasta Noodle Lineup: "Launching Customer-Centric Product Innovation" On the 20th, a model is showcasing 'Almando 100% Organic Whole Wheat Pasta' at Homeplus Gangseo Store in Seoul.

[Asia Economy Reporter Lim Chunhan] Homeplus announced on the 20th that it will focus on maximizing product competitiveness by making customer-centered product innovation a growth axis.


Since the spread of COVID-19, processed foods with a focus on "healthy food" have been strong. According to Homeplus, sales of processed food healthy food items grew 36% year-on-year from July to October 17 of this year.


This time, Homeplus is expanding its pasta lineup by launching organic whole wheat pasta noodles. The five types of "Almando 100% Organic Whole Wheat Pasta," directly imported from Italy, contain 77% whole wheat, emphasizing a mild and savory taste.


A Homeplus official said, "There is a trend of customers looking for organic items who want to enjoy cooking healthily," adding, "We will continue to expand differentiated product lines that can satisfy both customers' health and taste."
