Yangcheon-gu Supports 'Virtual Office' for Early-Stage Entrepreneurs Virtual Office Workspace

[Asia Economy Reporter Jongil Park] Yangcheon-gu (Mayor Kim Su-young) is conducting the ‘2021 Virtual Office Support Project,’ which provides office space (non-residential), business registration addresses, mailboxes, office equipment, and more to early-stage entrepreneurs who have difficulty securing office space as part of overcoming the COVID-19 crisis.

The virtual office project supports early-stage entrepreneurs struggling with office rent and management fees by offering a free business registration address using the internal office space at the Startup Didimnuri located in the Yangcheon-gu Social Economy Support Center, enabling smooth economic activities.

Yangcheon-gu started the virtual office support project in November 2019 for five companies, supported four companies in 2020, and six companies in the first half of 2021, continuously striving to revitalize the local economy.

In particular, Startup Nuri is equipped with a shooting studio, video editing room, and digital studio, allowing product photography, video editing, and video production, which is expected to be a great help to early-stage entrepreneurs who need non-face-to-face online business promotion.

Companies wishing to apply for the virtual office can visit the Yangcheon-gu Social Economy Support Center (375 Mokdongdong-ro), Startup Didimnuri (3rd floor) from 9 a.m. on the 27th to 6 p.m. on the 29th to submit their application forms. Afterwards, the final 10 companies will be selected through document evaluation by internal and external experts.

Additionally, young entrepreneurs under the age of 39, early-stage entrepreneurs within three years, and e-commerce companies will receive additional points during evaluation.

Kim Su-young, Mayor of Yangcheon-gu, said, “I hope this virtual office support project will be a great help to entrepreneurs burdened by fixed costs such as rent and management fees in the early stages of their business,” and added, “We will continue to do our best to contribute to revitalizing the local economy through meticulous policy support.”
