[Asia Economy Reporter Na Ye-eun] The twin sisters Lee Jae-young and Lee Da-young (25), who were effectively expelled from the domestic volleyball scene due to 'school violence' controversies, have transferred to Greece, and their new team, PAOK Thessaloniki, welcomed them warmly.
On the 18th (local time), PAOK posted numerous welcoming messages for the sisters on both the club's official website and social media accounts. The club shared photos showing the two players arriving at the Greek airport and being greeted with bouquets.
They introduced left hitter Lee Jae-young as a 'superstar,' stating, "She is the best wing spiker in the Korean league and has experience winning the MVP award. She also won a gold medal at the Asian Games as a member of the Korean national team."
Regarding her younger sister Lee Da-young, they called her a 'master' and explained that she has won both a championship and a cup tournament in the Korean league. They praised her highly, saying, "She has shown great ability from a young age and is one of the most outstanding talents in Asian volleyball."

Meanwhile, the twin sisters left behind controversies involving school violence, secret marriage, and domestic violence, and departed for Greece on the night of the 16th (Korean time), receiving enthusiastic welcomes from the club.
On the 17th, the club released the twins' first interview video through their official YouTube paid membership channel.
After receiving bouquets, when asked about their feelings upon arriving at PAOK, both replied, "We feel very good and have high expectations. We are grateful to be able to come to such an honorable place," adding, "We are happy to come to Greece and to be able to train in a good environment."
When asked if they had previously watched videos of the Greek league, Lee Jae-young said, "I have watched videos. I saw the games and there are many great players. I am excited and want to play soon."
