Governor Gu In-mo said, “I thank Head Yoon Jeong-o and Shin Tae-woo, head of the Geochang County branch, for taking the time during these difficult times to come.” He added, “Respecting veteran families is a natural duty of the national and local governments, and we will continue to carry out more robust veterans’ administration in the future.”
Meanwhile, Geochang County has expanded the number of recipients and increased the allowance for the honor stipend for national merit recipients and veterans this year to strengthen respect and improve welfare. They are also promoting policies to honor national merit recipients by providing smartwatches and filial piety vouchers.
