[Asia Economy Reporter Jin-ho Kim] On the 20th, the Financial Supervisory Service (FSS) announced that it has produced a video explaining how consumers can easily search for financial product comparison disclosure information.
The FSS operates the website "Financial Products at a Glance," where consumers can compare over 800 financial products such as savings deposits and loans offered by about 150 financial institutions including banks and insurance companies at a glance. The Korea Federation of Banks, the Korea Insurance Association, and others also provide key financial product information (interest rates, fees, etc.) through their websites.
In response to the recent increase in non-face-to-face financial transactions and the growing consumer interest in how to search for financial product information, the FSS produced the related video.
The video consists of ▲ how to use comparison disclosure information managed by the FSS ▲ how to use information managed by each financial association. It features step-by-step demonstrations on how consumers can search for and utilize frequently sought information such as deposits, mortgage loans, and credit loans.
The video can be viewed through the FSS's "Financial Products at a Glance" website. It is also posted on the FSS's official YouTube channel.
An FSS official stated, "We plan to continuously improve and supplement the comparison disclosure system so that consumers can conveniently use useful financial product information."
