Korea Tire Sharing Foundation Announces Selected Organizations for 'Tire Sharing Support Project'

[Asia Economy Reporter Changhwan Lee] The Korea Tire Sharing Foundation, the social contribution foundation of Hankook Tire, announced on the 19th that 363 social welfare institutions were selected as the second half support targets for the ‘2021 Tire Sharing Support Project.’

Since 2010, the ‘Tire Sharing Support Project’ has been conducted annually as a representative social contribution activity reflecting Hankook Tire’s core business characteristic of ‘Mobility.’ It is implemented in collaboration with the Community Chest of Korea and the Citizens’ Coalition for Safety Practice.

In the second half public offering of the ‘2021 Tire Sharing Support Project’ held in September, 712 social welfare institutions nationwide participated. According to the company, the support targets were selected based on a comprehensive evaluation including the Community Chest of Korea’s institution operation assessment, the usage status and purpose of the target vehicles, and the degree of tire wear and damage.

The list of selected institutions and detailed future schedules can be found on the Korea Tire Sharing Foundation’s website. The company explained that the selected institutions can make advance reservations for the tire replacement date and the dealership through the T’Station.com website, an online-offline linked service platform of T’Station, by the 12th of next month, and then receive the service.
