Gwangju Bank Appoints Archery National Team Athlete Ansan as Public Relations Ambassador

[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Park Jin-hyung] Gwangju Bank (President Song Jong-wook) appointed archery national representative An San as a promotional ambassador at its headquarters on the 18th, delivered an encouragement fund of 20 million won, and held a Star Talk Talk Day event.

An San achieved the first-ever triple crown in the history of South Korea's summer Olympic archery by winning gold in the mixed team, women's team, and individual events at the 2020 Tokyo Olympics, and also secured two titles at the 2021 World Archery Championships held last September.

Born in Gwangju Metropolitan City, An San attended Gwangju Munsan Elementary School and Gwangju Physical Education Middle and High Schools, and is currently enrolled at Gwangju Women's University. Gwangju Bank appointed An San, who has brought fame to Gwangju on the world stage, as its promotional ambassador and presented her with an encouragement fund of 20 million won, expressing hopes that this will contribute to nurturing local sports talents and revitalizing regional sports.

After the encouragement fund was delivered, a signing event with An San was held. The signing event, which was conducted for Gwangju Bank employees and customers visiting the headquarters, became a place for meeting and communicating with a local sports star and concluded successfully.
