A Comprehensive View of Global Exchange-Traded Product Trends... 'Global ETP Conference Seoul' Held

[Asia Economy Reporter Minwoo Lee] Domestic and international companies will hold an event to share trends and prospects in the Exchange-Traded Product (ETP) industry.

The Korea Exchange announced on the 19th that it will host the '2021 Global ETP Conference Seoul' at the Korea Exchange Seoul headquarters on the 9th of next month.

Now in its 11th year, this event is sponsored by the Korea Securities Depository, Koscom, the world's largest index provider S&P Dow Jones Indices, and eight Exchange-Traded Fund (ETF) asset management companies.

Under the theme of 'A New Wave of Market Innovation,' three sessions (six keynote presentations and two panel discussions) will be held. Through these, topics such as ▲domestic and international ETP market trends ▲ETP investment and liquidity trends ▲new products and market outlook will be discussed.

Notably, this year the offline event will be broadcast live online, and a virtual exhibition hall will also be operated. Investors interested in ETPs can watch online or participate in booths.

Those wishing to participate online can apply through the conference's official website by the 9th of next month. Considering COVID-19 prevention measures, only pre-invited individuals can attend the offline event. This is operated separately from the online application.

For participants who are Korea Financial Planners (AFPK) or Certified Financial Planners (CFP), continuing education credits (1.5 points) from FPSB, the certification and education authority, will be recognized. For other inquiries, please contact the event secretariat.
