[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Cheol-hyun] Public Shopping announced on the 19th that the seafood-exclusive program 'Eorap Show,' co-planned by the Fisheries Cooperative, will hold a special broadcast to celebrate its 6th anniversary.
In the 'Eorap Show' airing on the 20th, they will focus on selling Korean seafood such as hairtail, squid, and soy sauce marinated crab, which are struggling due to sluggish consumption.
Hairtail, a representative fish species of Jeju, has recently been suffering from decreased sales and consumption due to COVID-19. Public Shopping will schedule hairtail for the special Eorap Show and support distribution channels and consumption promotion.
'Eorap Show' is a program designed to promote the excellence of Korean seafood and stimulate consumption, and it has been reaching viewers every Wednesday since October 2015. Over six years and more than 370 broadcasts, it has recorded 950,000 orders and 44 billion KRW in order amounts, establishing itself as an exclusive distribution channel for Korean seafood.
