School Food Launches Two New Autumn Menu Items

School Food Launches Two New Autumn Menu Items

[Asia Economy Reporter Moon Hyewon] School Food announced on the 19th that it has launched two new menu items to welcome the autumn season.

The new menu items are ‘Uiseong Garlic Tteokbokki,’ made with plenty of domestically grown Uiseong garlic, and ‘Chinese-style Japchae Rice’ characterized by its smoky flavor. The tteokbokki with pungent garlic and the japchae rice full of smoky taste are expected to be enjoyed by consumers of various age groups, from adults to children.

‘Uiseong Garlic Tteokbokki’ highlights the spicy and pungent flavor using high-quality Uiseong garlic, a region famous as a representative garlic cultivation area in Korea. The soft and chewy texture of the rice cakes combined with the spicy sauce filled with minced garlic creates a harmony that is expected to captivate tteokbokki enthusiasts.

The other new menu item, ‘Chinese-style Japchae Rice,’ features thick glass noodles and vegetables with a smoky flavor, served together with savory egg fried rice, making it a perfect simple and hearty meal. This menu is not spicy, making it suitable for all age groups to enjoy.

Uiseong Garlic Tteokbokki is available at School Food stores and some School Food Delivery locations, while Chinese-style Japchae Rice is sold at some School Food Delivery locations.
