[Asia Economy Reporter Ji-hwan Park] Kiwoom Securities stated on the 19th that Isu Petasys is continuing to receive orders at historically high levels, indicating high visibility of its performance.

Ji-san Kim, a researcher at Kiwoom Securities, said, "The risks related to Exaboard, which had damaged corporate value due to long-term losses, and the Chinese subsidiary have been resolved," adding, "It has transformed into a specialized multilayer MLB (multilayer printed circuit board) company with global second-place competitiveness, and with orders continuing at historically high levels, performance visibility is high."

Isu Petasys's operating profit for the third quarter is expected to increase by 32% compared to the previous quarter, reaching 15 billion KRW. The speed of performance improvement is faster than expected, leading to the judgment that the company has the capacity to achieve an annual operating profit exceeding 40 billion KRW. Researcher Ji-san Kim emphasized, "MLB sales are increasing due to de-China demand and high value-added VIPPO product sales," and "The Chinese subsidiary has settled into a profitable trend along with structural improvements, requiring revaluation."

The core MLB continues to achieve record-high order performance. Researcher Kim explained, "As investment in communication infrastructure expands in advanced markets, demand to replace Chinese-made MLB is increasing due to the U.S. government's policy of excluding Chinese communication equipment." The trend toward faster data transmission speeds and the expansion of demand for high value-added VIPPO products are also positive factors.

Researcher Kim emphasized, "The 5G wireless base station market will be a new opportunity," adding, "Quality approval procedures are underway with major domestic and international customers, and the Chinese Hunan subsidiary's successful structural improvement and establishment of a profitable trend are also viewed positively."
