[Asia Economy Reporter Lim Cheol-young] Seoul Library announced on the 19th that it will hold an online lecture on July 11 titled "The Way of Thinking about Platforms 2.0," inviting Professor Lee Seung-hoon of Gachon University, the author of the book. The session will explore the concept and expansion of the term "platform" from an economic (business) perspective, focusing on ripple effects and value creation.
At Seoul Library, Professor Lee, author of "The Way of Thinking about Platforms 2.0," will be invited to discuss what platforms are, why they need to be understood, and how platform companies operate. Professor Lee is currently a professor at the College of Business Administration at Gachon University and the head of the advisory division at Nemo Partners.
Lee Jung-soo, director of Seoul Library, said, "Through the way of thinking about platform companies, we expect this to be a time to reconsider and learn about the needs of our society and citizens. It will be especially practical for citizens preparing to start platform-based businesses."
