Shinhyup Central Association Sponsors 230 Million Won to Foster Young Sports Talents

[Asia Economy Reporter Song Seung-seop] The National Credit Union Federation of Korea announced on the 18th that it will provide 230 million won to 16 schools nationwide to revitalize local sports organizations and nurture young talents.

At the 'Local Sports Organization Sponsorship Ceremony' held on the 15th at the Daejeon National Credit Union Federation Hall, the National Credit Union Federation announced this sponsorship plan.

The project to support school sports organizations is a social contribution program started in 2019 to support school sports organizations in less popular or promising sports. It provides necessary supplies and equipment to athletes striving for good results in challenging environments.

Kim Yoon-sik, Chairman of the National Credit Union Federation, emphasized, "We will deliver new hope to local youth who balance academics and sports despite difficult circumstances."
