This will be the first meeting between the ruling party's presidential candidate and President Moon. Although they met at an event in Sejong City on the 14th, at that time Lee was acting as the Governor of Gyeonggi Province.

There are speculations that the Blue House meeting will take place on the 21st or 22nd. The National Assembly's Public Administration and Security Committee is scheduled to hold a Gyeonggi Province audit on the 18th, and the Land, Infrastructure and Transport Committee on the 20th, which is expected to be the so-called 'Lee Jae-myung audit.' The Blue House meeting may occur shortly after the audit.

Lee's performance in the audit is expected to influence his political schedule as a presidential candidate, including the Blue House meeting. If he is evaluated as having performed well in the audit, it could reduce his political burden; however, if he suffers setbacks, the political pressure surrounding the Blue House meeting may increase.

If this week's meeting does not materialize, early next week will likely be a critical period. President Moon is scheduled for an overseas trip at the end of this month. If the meeting is not arranged by early next week, considering the trip schedule, the meeting date could be postponed to mid-November or later.
