[Asia Economy Reporter Ji Yeon-jin] Hana Financial Investment announced on the 18th that it has launched customized investment products for the post-COVID phase and the New Normal era, called ‘HipHop Lab’ and ‘Moeugi Lab’.
‘HipHop Lab’ is a product name combining ‘Hip,’ meaning trendy, and ‘合 (Hap),’ meaning to gather. It is a product that selects and manages carefully chosen promising stocks leading the New Normal era. It actively utilizes changing investment opportunities and environments, including not only COVID-19 beneficiary themes such as untact, eco-friendly, and future cars but also promising themes in the with-COVID era like reopening. It also features timely selection of promising themes with concentrated investment in companies and reflects short-term promising stocks in the portfolio, quickly adapting to market changes.
HipHop Lab was launched in two types: a global product and a domestic exclusive product. The overseas exclusive product focuses on global companies by utilizing Hana Financial Investment’s overseas stock management infrastructure, while the domestic exclusive product invests in promising domestic companies.
Kwon Chang-jin, head of the Lab Management Team at Hana Financial Investment, said, “We launched HipHop Lab and Moeugi Lab to provide various products and services suitable for the with-COVID era. We will continuously strive to make Hana Financial Investment the securities company that comes to mind when investors think of products that meet their needs and investment trends.”
They also introduced ‘Moeugi Lab,’ which leverages the advantages of installment investment by accumulating promising stocks from an individual stock perspective. It was launched in two types: an overseas exclusive product investing with analyses provided through collaboration with Hana Financial Investment’s Research Center on various global companies, and a domestic exclusive product investing in domestic companies.
The newly launched products are discretionary investment contracts managed and operated per customer account. Past performance does not guarantee future returns, and principal loss may occur depending on management results.
