W Concept Launches First Brand Campaign... Actress Bae Doona Selected as Model W Concept is launching its first large-scale brand campaign since its establishment.

[Asia Economy Reporter Lim Chunhan] SSG.com announced on the 18th that W Concept, acquired last May, will launch its first large-scale brand campaign since its establishment.


W Concept will run a brand campaign themed "WAKE UP YOUR CONCEPT" until the end of this year. The campaign will be conducted through various methods such as brand advertisements, discount promotions, and pop-up store operations, aiming to provide abundant benefits to customers.


Actress Bae Doona was selected as the advertising model, and two brand advertisements will be released. In the first ad, Bae Doona asks fashion apps that follow trends, "What is your concept?" The second ad highlights that among common shopping apps, those who know fashion use the differentiated W Concept.


To commemorate the first brand campaign, a large-scale discount promotion will be held for two weeks until the 31st. Every day from 10 a.m., the first 5,000 customers will receive a "Concept Support Fund" worth 60,000 KRW to use for shopping. During the event period, customers who purchase products and share their concept through reviews will be entered into a draw to receive an additional 5,000 points. A special exhibition called "Concept by W Concept" will offer up to 75% discounts on products from over 50 representative brands such as Frontrow, Recto, and Ink. A pop-up store will also be operated at Shinsegae Department Store Gangnam branch from the 29th until the 11th of next month.


Lee Euncheol, CEO of W Concept Korea, said, "W Concept has played a leading role in the industry as a unique online fashion platform, introducing the essence of fashion so that customers can find their own concept." He added, "We will continue to lead the market as a strong online and offline fashion vertical platform through category expansion based on fashion into beauty and lifestyle, as well as collaboration with affiliates."
