[Asia Economy Reporter Song Seung-seop] On Monday the 18th, the whole country will be mostly clear, but from the afternoon, the Seoul metropolitan area, Gangwon Yeongseo, Chungcheong region, and Jeju Island will gradually become cloudy with rain.

The morning low temperature is forecasted to be between -2 and 8 degrees Celsius, and the daytime high temperature between 13 and 19 degrees Celsius.

The Korea Meteorological Administration forecasted that rain will start from noon in Incheon and the western coast of Gyeonggi, from the afternoon on the western coast of Chungnam, and from the evening in inland Seoul, Gyeonggi, and Gangwon Yeongseo.

Expected precipitation amounts are 5 to 20 mm in the Seoul metropolitan area, Gangwon Province, Chungnam region, western Jeonbuk, Ulleungdo, and Dokdo, and around 5 mm in Chungbuk, eastern Jeonbuk, Jeonnam region, inland Gyeongsang region, and Jeju Island.

Fine dust concentration is expected to be at a 'Good' level across all regions.

On the east coast, high waves will strongly surge onto the sandy beaches until the morning due to swell inflow, so caution is advised to prevent safety accidents.

Sea waves are expected to be 0.5 to 1.5 meters in the East Sea coastal waters, 0.5 to 1.0 meters in the West Sea coastal waters, and 0.5 to 1.0 meters in the South Sea coastal waters.
