Providing Information on Resume and Interview Preparation, Corporate Organizational Culture, and Recruitment Processes
[Asia Economy Reporter Lim Cheol-young] The Seoul Metropolitan Government announced on the 18th that it will hold a live employment special lecture titled 'Anyway Employment! Solving Employment Concerns with HR Managers' to help young people resolve their questions about recruitment, such as preparing resumes and interviews.
The live special lecture will be held on the 21st, featuring current HR managers from IKEA Korea and Bungaejangter, who will listen to various employment concerns of young people and provide practical advice and information. The event will be hosted by Jacob, an employment YouTuber with over 240,000 subscribers preparing for employment, and will be conducted in a relaxed talk concert format.
In this live special lecture, current HR managers will provide comprehensive information related to recruitment, including analysis of corporate organizational culture and industry trends by company, as well as analysis of recruitment processes and evaluation criteria by company. As it is a special session with HR managers, they will also answer real-time questions from job seekers through the chat window from the evaluator's perspective, covering topics such as secrets to success and characteristics of unsuccessful applicants.
The employment live special lecture will be broadcast live on the employment YouTube channel ‘Insadamdangja’ and anyone interested can watch it in real time. Additionally, highlight videos of all employment live special lectures held this year are available on the Insadamdangja YouTube channel, allowing young people who missed the live broadcast to watch them later.
In addition to customized employment live special lectures timed for the recruitment season, the Seoul Metropolitan Government operates various employment support services for young job seekers through the Seoul Job Cafe. Park Dae-woo, Director of Economic and Job Planning at Seoul City, said, “We plan to operate various non-face-to-face employment programs that allow real-time communication for young people struggling with job preparation due to the spread of COVID-19,” adding, “We will actively support young job seekers to succeed in employment through various employment programs at the Seoul Job Cafe, such as employment counseling, job mentoring, and intensive consulting.”
