[Asia Economy Reporter Changhwan Lee] Hyundai Motor Group announced on the 17th that it will hold the '2021 Hyundai Motor Group Partner Companies Online Job Fair' to revitalize employment in the automotive industry, which has been weakened due to the spread of COVID-19, and to establish a new co-growth model with its partner companies.
Started in 2012, Hyundai Motor Group's partner companies job fair is the first domestic job fair for partner companies supported by a large corporation.
Hyundai Motor Group is fully responsible for financial support from event planning to operation to ensure that job consultations lead to actual hiring.
Marking its 10th year, the partner companies job fair will be held online again this year from the 18th to the 29th of this month for about two weeks to prevent the spread of COVID-19 infection.
The event will feature more than 280 partner companies related to eight group affiliates including Hyundai Motor Company, Kia, Hyundai Mobis, Hyundai Wia, Hyundai Transys, Hyundai Rotem, Hyundai Engineering, and Hyundai AutoEver.
Anyone can participate by simply signing up on the official website. Participants wishing to apply to partner companies can check the recruitment announcements for each partner company posted on the website, fill out the application form, and submit it online.
After document submission, successful applicants will be notified separately, and then video interviews will be conducted on the website.
Participants can check company introductions of excellent partner companies and job interviews with actual working staff through the 'Company Promotion Hall' tab prepared in the partner companies online job fair.
In the 'Employment Support Hall' tab, participants can receive automotive industry-related employment guides, online employment lectures, employment consulting, and employment success tools.
Additionally, this year's online job fair will introduce the 'Support Projects' tab, which showcases the 'Automotive Industry Specialized Expert Training Project' that nurtures excellent talents needed in the automotive industry such as 'Smart Factory' and 'Quality Control,' in cooperation with the 'Automotive Industry Cooperative,' an automotive parts company cooperative.
A Hyundai Motor Group official said, "We planned this online job fair to provide valuable hope and opportunities for challenge to job seekers in the automotive parts industry and related fields through the win-win cooperation between large corporations and partner companies in the hiring market, which has been weakened by COVID-19." He added, "Hyundai Motor Group will continue to support the recruitment of excellent talents by partner companies and strive to create quality jobs in the automotive industry."
