[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Suhwan] On Sunday the 17th, the whole country will be mostly clear with an early cold snap arriving.
The morning low temperatures are forecasted to be between -3 and 7 degrees Celsius, and the daytime highs between 10 and 16 degrees Celsius.
Morning temperatures will drop below 5 degrees Celsius in most areas, making it highly likely that cold wave warnings will be issued nationwide. Strong winds will also blow, making the perceived temperature even lower and the cold more intense.
The temperature difference between day and night will be very large, exceeding 10 degrees Celsius, especially in inland areas.
The cold will continue through Monday the 18th.
Fine dust levels will be 'good' across all regions due to smooth atmospheric dispersion.
Winds will be very strong over all seas, and waves will be high, so vessels navigating or fishing should exercise caution.
Sea waves will range from 1.0 to 4.0 meters in the East Sea coastal waters, and from 0.5 to 4.0 meters in the West Sea and South Sea coastal waters. Wave heights in the offshore waters (about 200 km from the coastline) are expected to be 1.5 to 5.0 meters across all seas.
