Changwon City Holds Meeting with the Gyeongnam Headquarters of the Korea Federation of Small and Medium Business
[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Ju Cheol-in] Changwon City, Gyeongnam, held a meeting with the Gyeongnam Regional Headquarters of the Korea Federation of Small and Medium Business at the Grand Mercure Ambassador Changwon on the 15th.
This meeting, hosted by the Korea Federation of Small and Medium Business, was organized to address the difficulties faced by local small and medium-sized enterprise cooperatives and small businesses.
The attendees proposed actively utilizing small-amount negotiated contracts recommended by cooperatives, permitting furniture companies to move into Dongjeon Industrial Complex, strengthening the social safety net for small business owners, and creating a specialized industrial complex for small shipyards within the Jinhae National Industrial Complex.
Hwang Seon-ho, Chairman of the Gyeongnam Small and Medium Business Association, said, "Since cooperatives are recognized as small and medium enterprises under the Framework Act on Small and Medium Enterprises, please participate in various support policies for small and medium enterprises."
Heo Seong-mu, Mayor of Changwon City, stated, "We will find solutions within administrative and financial limits for the proposals received," adding, "We will strive to help companies wisely overcome the crisis and achieve a new leap forward for the regional economy."
