◆Secret Decision= An island where the existence and memories of objects disappear due to an unknown force. When periodic extinction occurs, people lose all related memories. Otherwise, they are taken away by secret police and vanish. It refers to modern society, where unpredictable crises disrupt daily life. It elegantly argues that only by remembering and speaking can humanity be preserved.

"The density of silence hanging over the island gradually increased. The gap between the rate at which old things decayed and new things emerged continued to widen. The neighborhood restaurants, movie theaters, and parks were deserted; roads cracked by earthquakes were left unrepaired; train services decreased, and the ferry finally sank into the sea, disappearing from sight. The only new things were a few radishes, cabbages, and watercress sprouting in the fields, sweaters and knee blankets knitted by a lady working at a yarn factory, and some fuel transported by tanker trucks from somewhere. And the incessant falling snow. The snow showed no sign of disappearing."
