National Pension Service to Share Pension Management Know-How with Malaysia

[Asia Economy Reporter Park Soyeon] The National Pension Service announced on the 15th that it will conduct the 'NPS Global Fellowship 2021' for mid-level managers of the Employees Provident Fund (EPF) of Malaysia for three weeks from the 18th of this month to the 5th of next month.

This event is a customized, interactive overseas institutional training program operated as an advanced online course to strengthen the practical capabilities of the Malaysian public pension institution.

The Employees Provident Fund (EPF) of Malaysia, established in 1951 under the Ministry of Finance, manages workers' retirement pensions and operates the fourth largest fund in Asia.

The NPS selected six training areas including membership expansion and pension management based on the trainees' needs, and the program will be conducted in a double mentoring format, moving away from the traditional lecture and Q&A style.
