Gwangju Gwangsan Fire Station Conducts 'Equipment Training' to Enhance On-Site Crew Expertise

[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Yoon Jamin] Gwangju Gwangsan Fire Station (Chief Song Seonghun) announced on the 14th that it conducted on-site activity equipment training.


This training was promoted to improve the on-site response service of 119 life safety activities and to enhance the expertise of on-site personnel.


Equipment management officers from seven 119 Safety Centers in the Gwangsan area participated and focused on ▲ battery-powered pole saw usage instructions ▲ engine chainsaw usage instructions ▲ safety rules explanation ▲ equipment management methods.


The pole saw is mainly used to remove obstacles such as trees out of reach, but it is effective for removing icicles during the winter season.


Choi Byungbok, Head of the 119 Disaster Response Division, said, “We will strive to respond to various on-site situations through continuous training and education.”
