Cafe Comma Yeouido Shin Young Securities Branch (tentative name) to open early next year
[Asia Economy Reporter Minwoo Lee] Shin Young Securities is collaborating with Munhakdongne to create a complex cultural space on the 1st and 2nd floors of its headquarters building in Yeouido, Yeongdeungpo-gu, Seoul.
Shin Young Securities announced on the 14th that it has signed a lease agreement with Cafe Comma and plans to open this complex cultural space early next year. Cafe Comma is a subsidiary of the publishing company Munhakdongne and operates a book cafe. Here, visitors can enjoy various books as well as bread and coffee.
The 'Cafe Comma Yeouido Shin Young Securities Branch (tentative name)' will officially open early next year after interior renovations. Considering the characteristics of this financial hub area, it plans to stock more financial investment books compared to other branches.
Additionally, premium desserts from a famous French patissier will be offered. Cafe Comma recently launched 'Yan Couvreur Korea,' named after 'Yan Couvreur,' a top-tier French patissier. Yan Couvreur is known for using natural ingredients and seasonal fruits.
Through this opening, Shin Young Securities expects to hold various cultural events such as book concerts featuring famous domestic and international authors, leveraging Cafe Comma's network of writers from Munhakdongne.
A Shin Young Securities official said, "Cafe Comma's goal of providing a resting place for city dwellers tired of daily life aligns with Shin Young Securities' values," adding, "It will establish itself as a new cultural space in Yeouido, the financial center."
