[Asia Economy Reporter Junhyung Lee] The global Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) business of Yanolja Cloud, a leisure platform Yanolja subsidiary, continues to experience rapid growth.
According to Yanolja on the 14th, the number of cloud solution licenses sold by Yanolja Cloud last month in overseas markets such as the United States, Indonesia, the Philippines, and Africa increased by more than 170% compared to the same period last year. During the same period, the sales volume of solution licenses and new customers of Zenrooms, a Yanolja Cloud affiliate, in the Southeast Asian market increased by more than 137% and 1800%, respectively.
The background of this achievement is analyzed to lie in Yanolja Cloud's technological capabilities and market understanding. Previously, since 2019, Yanolja has expanded its global business by acquiring major hotel management solution companies such as Easy Technosis and Zenrooms, as well as online travel agencies (OTA). Last year, it also signed a strategic partnership with HotelOnline, the number one hotel digital marketing company in the African market. The company explained that its affiliates, including Zenrooms, have shown continuous growth in overseas markets, with Zenrooms rising to become one of the top three OTAs in the Southeast Asian market after being acquired by Yanolja.
Additionally, Yanolja Cloud localized its solutions according to the characteristics of each country. The company plans to strengthen its research and development (R&D) capabilities and accelerate its overseas solution license business based on localization.
Kim Jong-yoon, CEO of Yanolja Cloud, said, "The company's strength lies in deeply understanding the industry more than anyone else and presenting SaaS solutions optimized for the market," adding, "We plan to lead the digital transformation of the travel industry as well as leap to become the global number one."
