[Asia Economy Reporter Bu Aeri] Naver announced on the 14th that it will launch the 'Naver Emart Grocery Shopping Service' in collaboration with SSG.com.
From 7 PM tonight, customers can receive Emart Mall products via 'Sseuk Delivery' through Naver's grocery shopping service. This service launch is part of a business collaboration following a share exchange with Shinsegae Group in March.
Naver and SSG.com aim to expand grocery shopping options and enhance convenience for Naver users by opening Emart Mall's grocery shopping on the platform.
Emart's fresh food, popular private brand (PB) products such as Obanjang and Peacock, and special discount events will be offered identically on Naver. Popular grocery items will be prepared at discounted prices, providing a budget-friendly shopping experience through the 'Naver·Emart National Item Event.'
In addition to 'Sseuk Delivery,' which allows users to select their preferred delivery time, the service plans to strengthen its competitiveness in the online grocery market with Naver Pay payment and up to 8% rewards through Naver Plus Membership.
Kim Pyungsong, Head of Naver's Business Development Office, said, "Naver Grocery Shopping is rapidly growing, with transaction volume increasing by 350% year-on-year in the third quarter of this year through various collaborations including local markets, marts, organic food, and pet specialty malls. Starting with Sseuk Delivery, we will sequentially proceed with Emart Traders entry and dawn delivery collaboration to enhance user satisfaction and platform competitiveness."
