Hyundai Construction Provides Industry-First Premium Sports Service for Residents

[Asia Economy Reporter Kangwook Cho] Hyundai Engineering & Construction will provide premium sports services to residents for the first time in the industry.

Hyundai Engineering & Construction announced on the 13th that it recently signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) with Ice House, a specialized winter sports training center.

This agreement aims to offer more differentiated residential services to residents of The H and Hillstate, allowing them to experience unique lifestyles through various hobby activities.

When using ’Ice House‘ located in Suwon, Gyeonggi Province, residents can receive premium winter sports lessons such as ice hockey, figure skating, and skating from instructors who are former national representatives. The national team instructors include Lee Yoowon (ice hockey), Kim Sujin (figure skating), and Chae Jihoon (skating), and the programs are conducted in various ways tailored to the skill levels of the trainees.

Residents of The H and Hillstate are offered program fees at about 20% discounted prices compared to the original rates, and training programs such as personal PT and Pilates are also provided.

Hyundai Engineering & Construction has also partnered with the ‘Shin Aram Fencing Club,’ led by former national fencing athlete Shin Aram, allowing residents to choose from a variety of sports programs that suit them.

Additionally, Hyundai Engineering & Construction signed an MOU with the ‘Seoul Windsurfing Federation Speed Club’ to provide various programs for The H and Hillstate residents who want to enjoy water leisure activities on the Han River. Residents can learn windsurfing, kayaking, paddleboarding, and other water sports from professional instructors at the Seoul Windsurfing Center near Ttukseom.

They also signed an MOU with the equestrian club ’Golden Saddle,’ where residents can experience horseback riding and complete horseback riding coaching programs. Upon completing the program for a certain period, participants can obtain a pony-level certification issued by the Korea Racing Authority. In addition, various partnership services are available, such as indoor riding arena viewing, horseback riding program experience courses, and linking with pool villas.

A Hyundai Engineering & Construction official said, "Unlike existing residential services that were limited to services provided within apartment complexes and communities, this service allows residents to enjoy various hobbies outside the apartment." He added, "We will continue to provide more diverse services and benefits so that residents can feel the differentiated value of The H and Hillstate brands."
