Neorigin Releases Second New Game, Management Simulation 'Gwonryeok-ui Beopchik'

[Asia Economy Reporter Yoo Hyun-seok] Neoorigin, a KOSDAQ-listed company, announced on the 12th that it has released its second new game, 'Jeongukgu: The Law of Power (hereinafter The Law of Power)'. The Android version was first launched on Google Play, and the iOS version is in the final stages of App Store review before launch.

With this new release, Neoorigin aims to secure additional revenue sources following 'Goddess War (Idle Angels)'. The company expects that since 'Goddess War', currently serviced in Korea and Japan, generated new revenue of approximately 6.5 billion KRW in the first half of the year, the release of 'The Law of Power' will lead to further performance improvement.

A Neoorigin representative stated, “Since the new title 'The Law of Power' belongs to a different genre than the first work 'Goddess War', it is expected to attract new users who enjoy this genre,” adding, “We plan to conduct highly efficient marketing using various platforms such as portal sites and SNS influencers, referencing user tendencies and interests collected during the pre-registration period.”

'The Law of Power' is a management simulation game (SLG, SimuLation Game). Due to the nature of management simulation games, they are considered a genre that can be easily enjoyed by a wide range of users, from light users to heavy users. The company explained that this genre has a high proportion of heavy users who frequently make in-app purchases, resulting in significant revenue growth upon successful popularity. Heavy users are defined as those who log in 20 or more days per month.
