Shinhan Futures Lab Holds 1st 'PropTech Gamechanger' with Asia F&I

[Asia Economy Reporter Kwangho Lee] Shinhan Financial Group announced on the 12th that it will hold the first season of the open innovation contest 'Proptech Gamechanger' together with Asia F&I.

Through this contest, Shinhan Financial and Asia F&I plan to discover startups that can grow into unicorns in the proptech sector and collaborate for future investment, nurturing, and business development.

This contest is open to startups and prospective entrepreneurs with innovative technology, ideas, and execution capabilities in the proptech field. The application period is from today until the 8th of next month.

Companies selected in the Proptech Gamechanger contest will receive a total prize of 50 million KRW, investment up to 1 billion KRW, exclusive office space for one year, selection for the 8th Shinhan Futures Lab, and various other supports for scaling up.

Seongyong Lee, head of Shinhan Futures Lab (President of Shinhan DS), said, "We will provide the startup nurturing experience and know-how accumulated by Futures Lab so far and spare no effort to support the growth of startups selected as Proptech Gamechanger together with Asia F&I."
