[Asia Economy Reporter Hyunseok Yoo] Syswork, a company specializing in cleanroom control systems, announced on the 12th that its hydrogen fuel cell equipped with a self-developed air blower BLDC (Brushless Direct Current) motor is preparing for KGS (Korea Gas Safety Certification).
Based on the technology and experience accumulated in the cleanroom business, Syswork has succeeded in domestic production of the air blower BLDC motor for hydrogen fuel cells, which had previously relied heavily on imported products. Syswork's air blower BLDC motor for hydrogen fuel cells has been submitted as samples to numerous clients and is undergoing performance evaluation. Some clients have even completed durability evaluations, and the hydrogen fuel cells equipped with the air blower BLDC motor are preparing for KGS certification.
A Syswork representative stated, "We are actively supporting the development, sample submission, and technical support of air blower BLDC motors that meet the performance requirements of our clients." He added, "In the future, clients producing hydrogen fuel cells plan to obtain domestic KGS and KS certifications to sell their products in the market."
Syswork is also providing technical support necessary for the certification of standalone air blower BLDC motors. Certifications requested by clients for overseas exports, such as CE, UL, and CCC certifications, will be conducted separately.
A company official said, "We expect to secure a leading position in the air blower BLDC motor market for hydrogen fuel cells through this certification," and added, "In line with the transition to a hydrogen society, we plan to develop various additional items including ultra-small, small, and large models."
He further added, "With the development of the air blower BLDC motor, Syswork expects to improve (diversify) the sales structure limitations of the existing cleanroom-related industry (FFU/EFU), which was greatly affected by economic fluctuations in the domestic upstream industry, and anticipates it will become a new growth engine for the company."
